Ana I. Melo is an Associate Professor at the University of Aveiro and a researcher at the Centre for Research in Higher Education Policies (CIPES). Her current research focuses on performance measurement and management in public services, particularly in higher education. Ana has participated in numerous projects that proposed performance indicators to assess the quality of different institutions. She has published articles in journals such as Public Management Review, International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, and Higher Education. Additionally, Ana is the editor of books and has co-authored chapters published by Palgrave and Springer.
