Dr Darar Apiri is a Senior Lecturer in Engineering Management at the University of the West of England. He is a supply chain professional with a background in Civil Engineering. He is currently conducting studies on illicit supply chains, election logistics, reverse logistics, the circular economy (externality costs from second-hand vehicle exports), and community stakeholder complexities within infrastructure projects in the Niger Delta. By focusing on supply chain nuances and project complexities in resource-rich regions, particularly in the Global South, his research provides insights for policymakers and practitioners through the development of practical frameworks aimed at enhancing eco-social justice.
