Frans Kaiser is a senior researcher at the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Throughout his career at CHEPS, he has studied a wide range of topics, including student success, funding for higher education, and the classification and ranking of higher education institutions. Frans has analysed large quantitative datasets to compare universities, created benchmarking tools and simulation models, and conducted qualitative research on higher education policy evaluations. He has been involved in significant projects such as U-Multirank and a Dutch project aimed at exploring multiple perspectives on the future of higher education in the country.
