José A. Folgado-Fernández is a Full Professor in the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Extremadura, Faculty of Business, Finance and Tourism, Cáceres, Spain.
He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Extremadura, where he was awarded the PhD Extraordinary Award. He completed a postdoctoral research stay at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS), Portugal.
His research focuses on business and economics, and he has published several papers in specialised journals. He also serves as a reviewer for international journals. Prior to his academic career, he held managerial roles in various service companies.
