Kamal Malhotra
Dr Kamal Malhotra received her PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar), where she also worked as Director’s fellow. Later, she joined the laboratory of Prof May Griffith as a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Montreal, Canada. Her research interests are in self-assembled peptide gels and hydrogels, antibacterial and antiviral peptides, biomaterial-related infections, and tissue engineering. Dr Malhotra has been recognised with several awards including the prestigious Newton Bhabha PhD Placement Program and the Global Young Scientist Summit 2019.
