Dr. Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry completed his Postdoctoral studies in Public Policy at Harvard University (US) and earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Hamburg (Germany). He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Leeds, UK. His areas of interest encompass political economy, economic development, governance, and development policy. Dr. Chaudhry has previously held positions such as Director of the Punjab Economic Research Institute (PERI) within the Planning and Development Department of the Government of Punjab. He also served as Vice Chancellor of the University of Jhang, Pakistan. Presently, Dr. Chaudhry serves as the Chairman of the School of Economics and Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Administrative Sciences at the University of the Punjab. He also holds the role of Managing Editor for the "Pakistan Economic and Social Review." Furthermore, Dr. Chaudhry actively engages in community service as a member of the University Syndicate and as the President of the Punjab University Academic Staff Association.
